Thought I would love to share these beauties we found over the weekend. We're promised a chilly autumn rain tomorrow here at Stillwater. Now sitting high on the mantle over the fireplace, they don't have to worry about their spirits being washed away in the bone-chilling rains. All they need to do is to tell us the stories they've been brewing all summer long while listening to the pitter-patter raindrops on the windows pane. How lucky!
But I bet they already started missing the warmth under the sun, just as I do. In fact, summer is with them, in every curve, every crease, and every shade. I thought they were lucky to be picked up. We are. We're lucky to find them, keep them and share them with you, whatever you happen to be doing.
Happy Fall everyone!
